The Public Radio Satellite System (PRSS) is the distribution network managed by NPR Distribution, for thousands of hours of news, music, and specialized audience programming every year to public radio stations throughout the United States.
We are in the process of making a space on the PRSS server available for European music. Platform members are welcome to submit a music radio show or a CD compilation of their choice to be featured on the site.
- Satellite Radio
Sirius and XM have made an agreement to broaden North-American radios’ spectrum with French Language music and talk, and programmed more Scandinavian and British music as well.
- Commercial Radio
EMO is planning to retain a radio professional to pitch selected radio shows, potentially programmed by platform members or EMO US, to US commercial stations.
- College Radio
EMO will participate in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) conference on in New York City, as well as the CMJ above.
IBS is an excellent resource for college radio and educational web casting.

The European Music Office facilitates physical and Internet distribution, (downloads, mobile phones, streaming, pod casting, on-line CD sales) and licensing of international music in North America to augment and expand current market realities.
- Retail and International Distribution
This is well underway and will focus initially in the US and Canada and soon be expanded into other worldwide tertiary markets, on demand basis, starting with geographic and thematic compilation albums. - Digital Distribution
As already done in the past with UBIFRANCE and the Bureau Export de la Musique Francaise, EMO is planning to organize more professional meetings dealing with downloading and the Music Industry on line in The United States. EMO is in contact with the largest distributors and aggregators, all of who are very interested in expanding in all the European markets.
- Digital Networks
The EMO website, in conjunction with the most active international music presenters organization, North American World Music Presenters Coalition; (concert/festival promoters, publicists, managers, booking agents, label execs) are in development along with a companion targeted, opt-in, interactive email campaign on a large scale that will sell concert tickets, inform fans of new tours, album releases, sell albums, generate radio requests and media attention, present music and videos, links to labels, artists, and fan websites.

The European Music office is planning on organizing several professional conferences dealing with the US music business including presentations by US top professionals.
- European Dreams
EUROPEAN DREAMS New York City September-October 2006
